  1. Start by leaving your phone on the hook and press the TRANSFER key.
  2. You should see PROGRAMMING MODE ENTER PGM ID: on the phone's display
  3. Press 104
  4. If there is a name currently on the display press HOLD to clear it.
  5. Enter the new name by using the key pad, example: for the letter “C” press 2 three times. Use the volume UP key to advance the cursor one space.
  6. Press TRANSFER when you are finished.
